In the Federated States of Micronesia, there is currently no structured in-school youth apprenticeship program to bridge the gap between classroom learning and hands-on training opportunities.

Developing tools to support apprenticeship programs, particularly for in-school youth, is crucial for ensuring that students gain practical experience while still in school.

Through the SEE project, the National Department of Education works closely with states and high schools to equip students with the skills and confidence needed to successfully enter the workforce, thereby contributing to FSM’s economic growth and creating more opportunities for the next generation.
